Journaling
Join us for a gentle morning beginning with a guided journaling session, creating space to slow down, check in with yourself, and explore the themes of beauty, softness, and self-care — and what they look like in this season of your life. This session will be led by Desiree Ruiz Ramoz, Founder & CEO of Healing as a Community and School & Community Program Manager at Chica Project.
Skincare & Makeup Workshop
Then the Glossier Boston team will lead a hands-on beauty workshop where you'll learn skincare and makeup techniques designed to enhance your natural features for a no-makeup makeup look. Rooted in Glossier’s philosophy of beauty that feels personal, approachable, and real, this experience centers skincare as the foundation and embraces simplicity, effortlessness, and individuality — enhancing who you are, not hiding it.
Photos & Social Hour
As part of the experience, you will also have the opportunity to receive a portrait taken by local Boston photographer Tailyn Clark. These portraits are not about posing or perfection, but about having fun and capturing how you feel in the moment — grounded, present, and fully yourself.
We highly recommend coming without makeup, as we’ll be walking through a full morning routine skincare and makeup together — from start to finish.

At Soft Girl, Soft Life, we believe being soft is not a weakness — it’s resilience. It’s the way we care for ourselves in a world that constantly asks us to perform, produce, and perfect. It’s how we nurture ourselves, how we speak to ourselves, and how we allow ourselves to exist as multifaceted, evolving women.
Softness is choosing rest without guilt.
It’s honoring your needs.
It’s embracing yourself, even while you’re still healing and becoming. From this lens, beauty becomes more than just about appearance. It becomes a part of how we care for ourselves. It is a practice rooted in enhancing what’s already there, prioritizing skincare as the foundation, and embracing authenticity over transformation. Her Soft Side invites you into that practice — a space to soften, reconnect, and experience beauty as self-care.
